Water Restoration Lead Technician

We are seeking positive attitudes, professional work ethics and people with a desire to help others for water restoration technicians for immediate openings. Our water restoration technicians are responsible for the completion of water removal, drying and mold remediation for fire, water, and environmental losses.

Delta Restoration Services is a full-service commercial and residential property restoration firm. Our staff and rapid-response crews are on call 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, ready to be dispatched at a moment's notice to anywhere within our two-hour response area. From the moment we arrive on site, our objective is plain: We're here to restore damaged property and valuables to the condition they were in before the disaster, and we'll do everything in our power to make the process as brief and painless as possible. All of our personnel are highly trained and certified in their respective areas of mitigation and restoration. Our employees are well-groomed, professional and wear company logoed apparel at all times on the job. We know the insurance industry and will work closely with the insurance carrier to assist them in creating a smooth, efficient, and fair settlement.

DUTIES

Identify the source of the problem and scope of the water damage
Perform water extraction and pack-out of contents
Remove and dispose of any non-salvageable flooring that was affected by the water loss
Water extraction and mold remediation
Set up and maintain containment areas
Take moisture readings, measurements, set up commercial drying equipment using company guidelines and monitoring daily
Remove damaged or wet building materials
Perform hard surface cleaning
Complete paperwork when a new water loss is reported
Supervise, train, and support other technicians
QUALIFICATIONS

Must have the ability to communicate with others in written and verbal form
Restoration experience preferred but not required
Must be familiar with and be able to operate a wide range of equipment common to construction demo
Must be able to work for extended periods of time in varying temperatures that has suffered fire, water and wind damage
Must be able to respond to service calls after-hours and during inclement weather
Requires a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record
IICRC certifications a BIG plus!!
Delta Restoration Services offers a competitive benefit package including: Medical, HSA, Dental, Vision, Life, and 401K.

Compensation: $15-17/hr DOE Sign on Bonus $100 after 30 days and $300 after 6 months!

Delta Restoration Services has contracts with customers that require we run background checks and maintain copies of Motor Vehicle Records. We also do pre-employment and random drug screens (using Federal guideline to DOT standards.)

To be considered for employment:

You must have no felony or misdemeanor conviction that considered "crimes against others" are allowed within the past seven years. This background check will at a minimum include an investigation for, and review of, any (i) state or federal felony conviction; and (ii) misdemeanor convictions involving (a) intentional injury or loss, to person or property or (b) endangerment of others while under the influence of alcohol or other substances, and any pending deferred adjudications with respect to any of the above, as allowed by law, (collectively "convictions") for at least the seven years prior to the effective date of this agreement of the addendum pursuant to which such employee is providing services (the "applicant period").
Motor vehicle records must show no more than 6 points assessed again their license in the previous 12 months.
