Bailey's Logistics Services is looking for a Warehouse Inventory Control Specialist to handle both inbound and outbound property inside our warehouse facility. This position is full time with benefits. This person will be responsible for identifying property and segregating it appropriately. Must be able to verify driver paperwork at the end of routes and enter the data into the computer system. This position will also prepare and scan outbound loads for secondary buyers and returns to the origin distribution center. This person will also be responsible for researching incomplete loads and property on site as needed and perform weekly cycle counts, investigation and reconciliation. Must be dependable, very detailed, have effective oral and written skills, good time management skills, organizational skills and a positive attitude.
Warehousing experience (cross dock is a plus). Operation of warehouse equipment helpful but not mandatory as long as you are willing to learn.
RESPONSIBILITIES
May help load and unload product from the vehicle and verify contents against shipping invoices or inventories
Performs other duties as assigned
Completes any reports or logs
Thorough organization of paperwork and processes
Follows all safety policies and procedures
QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to read/speak/write fluently in English
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Neat, clean, and professional appearance
High school diploma or GED required
Proficiency with all common computer applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Reader, etc)
Should have strong creative, critical and deductive reasoning skills
Must have the ability to make use of computer systems, deductive reasoning and physical tracking, combined to monitor and locate missing inventory
Be able to use physical, as well as mechanical means necessary to move product in and around the warehouse, such as refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers etc.
