Lakeshore Talent is looking for qualified candidates to fill 7 Patient Access Coordinators (Schedulers) at one of their clients, a medical company located in Englewood. These are contract-to-hire positions that pays $16-17/hour, depending upon experience . All positions are M-F and there are three available shifts. They are: 8:30 – 5:00, 9:00 – 5:30 and 9:30 – 6:00.
Position Overview:
In this new, dynamic position you will create a welcoming environment, schedule and assist patients, and focus on providing the best service possible for our patients. To succeed in this role, it is important to be able to show compassion, enjoy working within a team, be flexible, have great communication, and be able to problem solve.
Performance Objectives:
Warmly welcome all patients on the phone, gather required information, accurately input data and complete forms required for their exam/appointment.
Accurately review patient orders and schedule patients for exams.
Communicate pertinent information to patients, technologists, radiologists, and other departments to ensure a smooth process and timely feedback for delays or other events.
Anticipates operational needs, is empowered to find solutions and execute with appropriate judgement.
Within the first month will be able to navigate and use all company computer systems, schedule patients with assistance in under 7 minutes, be able to confirm patient information and understand how to schedule various exams.
