FAST PACED Dermatology office is seeking a full time medical assistant to join a growing and dynamic business. Candidate's must be willing to cross train with the front office. Must be eager to learn about new procedures and skin care products. The MA will work as a team member with staff and work closely with multiple providers to provide quality medical and cosmetic care to patients.
GENERAL DUTIES CAN INCLUDE;
Rooming patients and collecting CC/HPI, ROS and medical history
Scribing for providers with EMR
Explaining skin care regimen, care instructions and preparations
Assist with procedures, injections and excisions
Refills, biopsy results, prior authorizations
Answering phones
Scheduling
REQUIREMENTS;
Medical Assistant Degree or Certificate
Detail oriented
Multi task
Good listening skills
Computer skills
Great customer service
PREFERRED;
Dermatology experience
EMR experience (Modernizing Medicine/EMA)
